We’ve had different actors played Pinhead in the past, so it’s not out of the realm of possibly to replace the original Pinhead played by Doug Bradley. I didn’t even mind that Pinhead is now played by a woman. I like the new additions to Clive Barker’s original story, and I think it is fresh and exciting to get new ideas to this franchise. The other new rule is that if you solve the box’s six configuration, you are granted with an audience with the Cenobite’s god Leviathan. Once you are marked, the Cenobites will appear to destroy you. Instead of just another sequel, like so many of the other Hellraiser films, this new Hulu version created new rules and lore on the Lemarchand’s puzzle box… namely that the box can cut you with hidden blades to feed the box. Barker, himself, wrote and directed the original Hellraiser film in 1987, which set a new standard for horror films. The 2022 Hellraiser film based on and re-imagined Clive Barker’s Hellbound Heart novella. In conclusion, Expendables 2 brings back the 1980s action style with it's teaspoon of humor.The first really good horror film to come out this year is the new Hellraiser film, exclusive to Hulu. The cast was great, the story is better, the action is MORE intense, there is great humor. Chuck Norris, you'd be surprise how he is. Speaking of chemistry, Dolph Lundgren's role is MUCH better now and very enjoyable. Arnie and Bruce Willis had a great screen time too with perfect humor, seriously the chemistry between those 2 and the rest is great. Van Dammne played a very very very very very AWESOME villain, and towards the end of the film, he shows even at the age of 50, he is stronger than ever. This film is better since the rest of the team (other than Stallone) get more screen time and they have their humor moments. The second however, we already know the gang so now we actually see how they truly are and how they work.
The first film introduces the gang so we get to know them. This sequel however actually has a story, a story of revenge. I must admit, the hype for the first film was too much and in the end, we all got some intense 80s style action but with a poor story.
